SheffieldRag: bad... for a good cause

signups are full

So that was an interesting night for all.. Congratulations to everyone who got a place, and sorry to those of you who didn't, if you're on the reserve list there's still a fairly decent chance you might get in but NO PROMISES.

We're sorry for all the stress caused, it was basically a case of the server completely overloading. We didn't reschedule the date as we wanted to be as fair as possible to everyone, give everyone the same information but also avoid the same thing happening at 7pm the next day or whenever it would be.. We hope you understand we did our best to give everyone the fairest chance possible and hope to see a lot of you very soon! Those of you who have a place will be emailed regarding cheque hand-in and other info within the next couple of days.. Bummit over and out.

What's going on here then?

Last Easter, 300 students from the University of Sheffield set off on an epic 1,900 mile journey to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, via Leipzig in Germany.

The only (tiny, incredibly insignificant) catch is that the participants only had £15 to spend on travel!

Blagging trains, buses, trams, ferries and good old fashioned hitch-hiking saw them raise £64,000 for a number of different charities located both in the UK and abroad.

This year we're heading to Zadar in Croatia, and we're going to do it all again! Stay tuned for signups which should be online next Monday the 24th!
