“I enjoyed meeting lovely people (and dogs), having an adventure and raising money for Sheffield charities. Everyone was really positive and friendly, despite the snow, and Trump!”

“I loved meeting so many new people that were all lovely and friendly enough to give us a lift. Bummit restores your faith in humanity

“I really enjoyed Baby Bummit! I'd never hitchhiked before, and found it very fun and challenging! I met some great people on the way down to Brighton and thought it was a great destination. The meal and club night were great too.”

“I enjoyed meeting lots of interesting people and putting myself outside my comfort zone. Would definitely recommend!”

Don't miss out and join the biggest (and best) student-led charity hitchhiking event in the world, make a load of new friends and meet a varitey of interseting people on your journey!

Be one of the 200 students making their way in teams of 2 or 3 from Sheffield all the way to Edinburgh. On the morning of the trip we will all leave from the SU together and begin our hitch. There are multiple ways to make your way north but you are guaranteed to see other teams along the way. We will then all meet up in Edinburgh for a resturant meal and a legendary night out.

Going on the trip also means committing to raising at least £75 for charity, but don't worry - we run a wide range of fundraising events and provide support for you to make sure you can do your bit for good causes. Last year, Bummit donated a massive £57,140 for charities in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and this year's going to be even bigger!

Please ensure you have read the Terms and Conditions and FAQs.
