Bummit to Budapest 2010 Sign-up

Sign-up is done online through www.bummit.co.uk
Applications will be going live on the website on Monday 30th November at 7pm so and be here on that date to sign up!

Each applicant will have to pay a £75 registration fee which covers our administration costs, insurance, a party and one nights accommodation in both the halfway city and our final city destination as well as a group meal at the endpoint. You will also receive the fabled Bummit pack which includes your swanky Bummit T-Shirt, assorted goodies for the trip as well as the essential Bummit Book of Books.

Each applicant will, at the time of paying registration fees, also have to submit two cheques made out for £100 each which will only be cashed if they don't raise the required minimum £200 in sponsorship.

When you sign up, please make sure you have handy:

- Passport number and issue/expiry dates
- EHIC card (can be got after signing up)
- Your doctor's details
- Details of your next of kin
- A housemate's name and number
- Your ucard number

PLEASE REMEMBER: If your passport has only six months before it expires, you CAN'T travel, which would be bad times, so everyone needs to check this!

Teams and Team Mating Socials

Remember, if you don't know anyone else going, and your worried that you need a team before you can sign-up, this is NOT true.

We run Team Mating Socials for those signed up without a team, so you're bound to find someone to go with.

Don't get put off if none of your mates want to join up, just do it, and come to the team mating socials!! :)

Baby Bummit to Edinburgh was an overwhelming success.

A massive well done to all those that took part, you did a sterling job.

Bummit would not be possible without the amazing help and generosity of all those people who gave up their time, comfort and peace & quiet to rescue us from the cold and lend a helping hand in raising money for both Lane End Farm and The Sunday Centre. You guys are amazing. Thank you so much also, to those of you who donated money. Rest assured that your unlivable faith and generosity is going to a fantastic cause.

The latest from the Bummit frontlines

Committee Mini-Hitch up to Edinburgh was a huge success! Spent the evening in Edinburgh sorting out all the amazing bars and an awesome restaurant for you lucky bummers. Even had some great donations from a few lovely people along the way to kickstart this years fundraising. Lets make this year another record breaker!

Want to give out a special mention to Matt who gave us a great public shoutout and helped to spread the Bummit love.

Baby Bummit 09 to Edinburgh

Right guys, the long awaited Baby Bummit is here and is scheduled for 10 November 2009.

Tickets go on sale Monday 19th October at the Student’s Union Box office. Only a limited number of places, so gets yours asap. This is not something you want to miss out on.

Picture it, Edinburgh, hitching, meal, bar crawl, clubbing, t-shirt, hitching guide, night in a hostel plus A GUARANTEED PLACE ON BIG BUMMIT TO BUDAPEST (Easter)! The big hitch has been known to sell out in just 20mins so this is a pretty nice deal. Baby Bum all for just £20 plus £60 sponsorship for each bummer. Enjoy!
